Are you passionate about inspiring children to discover a love of reading? Do you enjoy being part of something exciting and meaningful?
Following a successful pilot in 2024/25, Chapter One is expanding its KS2 Book Club programme—and we’re looking for two enthusiastic Book Club Facilitators to help us grow this exciting initiative in the following locations:
- 1 x London (E1 & E13)
- 1 x Doncaster (DN6)
About the role
You’ll lead in-person weekly book club sessions with small groups of Year 4 and 5 pupils in two local primary schools (within one of the locations listed). Working closely with our Reading Engagement Lead, you’ll support session planning and delivery, engage in our training programme, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of the pilot.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in reading for pleasure, children’s literacy, or education programme delivery, and who is excited about shaping a model with the potential to scale nationally across Chapter One schools.
